A total of 29 pupils in Grade 11 and 12 took part in the South African National Geography Olympiad in May. The Olympiad was comprised of two parts, the main exam and an optional addon part about Antarctica. Alistair Howarth opted to tackle the Antarctica section and came in the Top 5% in the country, receiving a Gold award. Jason Freestone was in the Top 10% for the main section and received a Silver award. Well done lads, this is fantastic!
